- PARENT FOLDER (Ironworks ECM)
- The folder is created and named by the User during system installation. It contains all system files, including:
- Shared Files Folder
- The folder specified by the User during automated installation to contain all data files for all users.
- Ironworks ZIP file
- The compressed application file that is down loaded from the Support Website and placed in the Parent Folder by the User
- Ironworks ECM.exe application file.
- The application file that is extracted from the ZIP file by the User during installation. It is recommended that a shortcut to this file be placed on each User’s desktop.
- Shared Files Folder
- The folder is created and named by the User during system installation. It contains all system files, including:
- SHARED FILES FOLDER
- Estimates sub-folder
- This sub-folder is automatically created by the application during installation. It contains the system’s Training and Master estimates and all estimates produced by Users.
- Local Datapoints sub-folder
- This sub-folder is automatically created when the first estimate is saved by a User. It contains datapoint files for each estimate produced.
- Reports SFF sub-folder
- This sub-folder is automatically created with the first report is automatically saved by the system. It contains three reports:
- Incomplete Machine Records
- Charge Rate export – for export to third-party job cost estimating and accounting systems
- Estimated Cost export – for export to third-party accounting systems
- This sub-folder is automatically created with the first report is automatically saved by the system. It contains three reports:
- Library.xlsx file
- This file contains lists of valid values that are used to specify properties common to ALL estimates. Its contents are automatically appended when valid values are created on-the-fly while estimating. This file’s contents can be manually maintained by opening and editing it using Excel’s features. Changes made to this file’s contents are NOT reflected in existing estimates.
