Click on the icon to open the Edit Library tool.

Click on the down arrow to select from a menu of Libraay administration tool options.

Edit Library #

• Opens a command specification form for editing the Library file stored in the Shared Files Folder
• Use this tool to manage custom values in the valid values lists in the Library.

Combine Libraries #

• Automatically combines the content of the current Library with the content of the Library file provided with the active version of Ironworks.
• Custom values are not affected.
• Duplicate values are removed.
• Use this tool to update your system’s Library with the latest release from Support.

Replace Library #

• Automatically replaces the current Library file with the one provided with the active version of Ironworks.
• A copy of the replaced file is saved in the Shared Files folder.
• ALL CUSTOM VALUES ARE LOST.
  • To automatically add custom values to a new Library
    • Open and Close an Estimate containing custom values you need
    • Use the Append Library tool
• Use this tool to replace a corrupt or obsolete Library file.

Append Library #

• Automatically copies validated values in the Equipment List sheet of the active Estimate not found in the Library, trims errant spaces, and saves the clean values in the current Library.
• Use this tool after importing data.
